| Recovery and leading a happy life following a traumatic event is a challenge at best. When the trauma is incest or child sexual abuse it is even more difficult. Too often children are not living in supportive environments and recovery services are not made available. As a result, women have lead lives that are filled with dysfunction, sadness, and often times depression. Nirvana Now!'s discussion group is open to all women, with emphasis on the African American womans' experience, who are incest and child sexual abuse survivors is here to help. This free, confidential group meets twice monthly and is designed to give women a place to relieve themselves of unwarranted pressures and obtain the tools necessary to live a more fulfilling life.
